Press Sample   If you missed it, I posted swatches of three of the new KBShimmer Fall 2014 polishes HERE . I revisited these polishes on a very cloudy day and came up with some simple nail art. Glitter placement nails are really great for someone who loves the look of glitter but doesn't or can't wear full glitter nails, so check out my post below. Glitter Placement and Stripes with KBShimmer Fall 2014 Collection When I saw Kiss and Spell, I knew the satin glitter would be perfect for glitter placement. It's much easier to do placement with glitters that don't shine or have holo glitter in it. First, I started with two coats of Elevation Polish Shilin Stone Forest, which is a gorgeous gray holographic polish with black microflakies. LOVE it. On my outer three nails, I did simple stripes with KBShimmer Rust No One and Hugs and Wishes. For the middle nails, I put a blob of Kiss and Spell on tin foil, and with a dotting tool, picked up the glitters that I wanted to place.

Press Sample Do you ever want to do a gradient but you either don't have any makeup sponges or the normal tools to create a gradient? Maybe you don't want the mess? Well I've been doing these "faux" gradients when I forget my sponges or just want a super quick mani. You can achieve a similar look of a seamless gradient as long as you have a clear-based glitter top coat! When I saw these "dreamlike animal" decals, they immediately reminded me of vintage patterns from the 70s (even though I wasn't alive then). They are so cute, I can't handle it. Press Sample KBShimmer is releasing a new collection today and the entire collection includes cremes, glitters, and holographic polishes that complement the autumn season. I'm really excited with the three I have to show you today and based on the swatches I have seen of the other colors, it looks to be an excellent collection! Rust No One: two coats. Rust No One is a beautiful rusty orange holographic polish.The first coat it looks to be like a jelly polish but it has complete coverage with the second coat.
