Press Sample  HAPPY HALLOWEEN! I can’t believe that it’s Halloween. This means it’s the end of my favorite season and we will move straight into the holidays (well, some people already have). Later today, I will be posting my recap of my 13 Days of Halloween but first let me show you Day 13! I went back-and-forth on what I wanted to do but as I was walking around the city this past weekend, I saw a pretty poster in Sotheby’s of a van Gogh painting. Thus I created my van Gogh Halloween scene.  This was inspired by one of those Paint Night paintings. I had this image pinned for a long time ago but forgot all about it and as I was browsing my Pinterest board, there it was. I knew it was meant to be since I saw the poster so I set out to do this starry night scene but in Halloween colors with a haunted house. Press Sample Hello everyone! Today's nail art is one of those arts that in my head, might be meh. Of course, when I finished, I was like ahhhh, I love this! Literally, this took minutes, like under ten, and it is just so cool! So swirl manis are super popular. I see them everywhere. I did a base of a neutral sheer, just for some depth of the look. Then I did the three swirls of color! I love the three oranges; one is dark, mid-orange, and then neon. So fun!   Here are the colors I used: Base: Morgan Taylor Barely Buff, 2 coats  Neon orange: ORLY Tropical Pop Medium orange: China Glaze Sultry Solstice  Dark orange: OPI Have your Panettone and Eat It Too Black: Girly Bits it's definitely him After I did the swirls and let them dry a few minutes, I then stamped a variety of bats on my nails. I did some larger one and smaller ones for depth. I added dots and stars for more oomph. Seriously, this is so simple and I cannot get over it. Here are the close-ups because I love it. Yes, m

13 Days of Halloween: Favorite Media-Inspired Halloween Looks

Press Sample For my last recap, I am focusing on movies and television! Looking back at ten years of Halloween manicures was seriously fun. I must have spent hours just browsing, compiling, and linking these posts, because I am so proud what has been on my nails for a decade! So let's take a look at my favorite media-inspired looks!     Let's start with my oldest look! This was one of many Charlie Brown-inspired nail arts that I have done on this blog. I combined some shaped glitters with the nail polish and while, yes, this is rough, I am not mad at it! My Snoopy silhouette looks pretty good! Here is my blog post on this look! Here's another oldie! I wish I got better pictures of this because I loved it so much! I added all the details of the movie from the Halloween tree to Zero. Just love this! Head to my post for all the details!   What's more iconic than Beetlejuice's stripes and green hair!? This was one of my more simple looks for Halloween, but that transp
