I love kitties and when I saw these water decals, I NEEDED THEM. So check out what I did with them. Love Kittens Nail Art with Multichrome Flakie Jelly Sandwich I started with two coats of OPI Don't Touch My Tutu which is a sheer jelly white polish. Then I alternated nails and added one coat of Takko Lacquer Wynwood Walls and Surrealistic, which are both multichrome flakie polish with a touch of holo. I knew I would love these in a jelly sandwich! They look so so awesome. The polishes were both dense and covered so well with just one coat, and this was me using a light hand. Nothing to Disclose   Hi all! Sorry for my lack of posts lately. I've actually been very sick lately and it's totally taken a toll on my blog. I hope you forgive me! For today, I have a pinky girly manicure I wore because February is the month of love (actually, all of them  are!) OPI DS Tourmaline with OPI Minnie Style My cousin got my OPI DS Tourmaline and it is the ultimate girly nail polish. It's a super pretty texture polish with iridescent glitter. I used one coat of top coat. While it's really pretty, it chipped quickly on me so I need to play around with base coat. For my middle two nails, I used two coats of A England Briar Rose and topped it with one coat of OPI Minnie Style which I picked up on clearance for 97 cents. I figured why not? Then I added heart and flower studs around my cuticles. Really seriously the most girly manicure. Nothing to Disclose I have a love of New Orleans. I love the vibe of the city; it's so beautiful and so full of culture. I still dream of living there! So of course, I need to do some Mardi Gras nail art to celebrate the culmination of the six week celebration which ends with Fat Tuesday on February 17th. Mardi Gras Stripes for Fat Tuesday! I started with a base of two coats of Pahlish Golden Nugget. It's probably my favorite gold polish ever. Then with the nail polish brush, I used Cirque Colors Pop! and Cirque Colors Lonesome George to add simple stripes. I like doing nail art that doesn't need special tools. Lastly, I added one coat of my favorite Mardi Gras glitter, Red Dog Designs Harlequin Ball. I hope she re-releases it this year because it's so gorgeous! Nothing to Disclose I have so more cutesy nail art for Valentine's Day and this time it's with the BEGL collection from last month. This is really simple nail art so if you are in a rush, this is perfect. Heart Cut Outs with Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer I wanted so many of the polishes from last month's BEGL collection but I settled on Wanna Fall in Love Tonight  and Counting Down Until I See You. I used a base of two coats Wanna Fall in Love Tonight which is the most amazing vivid purple with a striking violet shimmer. This polish dries matte so it definitely needs a coat of top coat. Then I painted on free-handed hearts with Counting Down Until I See You. I did two coats of this. My last step was to use a basic black creme and outline the hearts with a striping brush. Nothing to Disclose Unlike chocolate covered strawberries, I've dipped my strawberries in chocolate and allowed some of the chocolate to splatter down the strawberries aka my nails. And I did it with some diamond nail polish. Chocolate Dipped Strawberries Nail Art These are the other two Azatures I grabbed during their sale. I wish I had bought some cremes but these are equally beautiful. I used a base of two coats of Azature Red Diamond which is a sparkly red polish with diamond dust. It's sparkly but not in your face. It just didn't want to show up in photos. You can see some of the blue sparkly flecks.  Then using Chocolate Diamond, I used the tip of the brush and just made the drip shapes. The Azature brush is actually fairly thin, so this was easy. Nothing to Disclose I'm pulling out the old indies! I know a lot of people didn't know about indies until recently, but Nailventurous was one of the first ones out there. This is probably my favorite of her polishes--it's so complex and really wonderful. In a sea of holo polishes, these are the types of polishes I miss the most. Nailventurous The Shimmer Effect The Shimmer Effect only took two coats to be opaque. It's a beautiful berry polish with crazy shimmers and delicate glitters. I love this look. I've been tired of full blown glitter manicures, but the hint of glitter in this polish is perfect! There's a heavy silver shimmer along with gold and green glitters. I love the little bits of green square glitter. Press Sample Hey All!  I got the Zoya Delight Collection and just wasn't in the swatching mood yet, so I decided to do some Valentine's Day nail art. The colors were all excellent for nail art, so I had to use them. Swatches will be coming of course, but first, let's get lovey. Hearts on a String Valentine's Nail Art with Zoya Delight I started with a base of three coats of Zoya Rayne. This is definitely the winner of the collection. The shimmer is beautiful and really mesmerizing. Then I used Zoya Lillian to create "strings" across my nails. With the remaining colors of the Delight collection, I painted hearts and dots.
