Mardi Gras Nail Art

Gambar
Press Sample Hi all! If you're new to this blog, then you may not know how much I love New Orleans and Mardi Gras. If you are not new, then you were expecting something glittery and fun to celebrate! I hope to get another post up with my second nail art, but I am utterly obsessed with this art, so I just couldn't wait to share! Mardi Gras is actually six weeks, but the final few weeks is when all the huge parades happen! So I have worn this mani all last week and have been watching Instagram stories of people in New Orleans for weeks. I love the NOLA vibe so so much. Obviously, I went with the classic gold, green, and purple motif. I also wanted to incorporate a diamond pattern, since it feels regal and Mardi Gras to me. Now I am going to blow your mind. I stink at free-hand diamond patterns. I went through my plates and grabbed a Christmas argyle pattern and simply colored in the pattern within the argyle so now it looks like diamonds. Not only did it save me probably 45 mi

Press sample Hello everyone! It’s almost Polish Pickup time! Look at me posting ahead of time....LOL. I am a huge lover of white nail polish. Add some flakes and shimmer? YES. This month is Maker's Choice and I love that Stella Chroma went with this ethereal color!   Emulsified Sugar Scrub in Hippie Chick : I love unique scents and this one is so complex and refreshing. I can see why it is one of Pam's favorite scents. I bet you will love it too! I love the Hippie Chick scent so much, I’m bringing it back for Maker’s Choice! The official description is: Notes of fresh lavender buds infused with patchouli, sandalwood, ylang, amber, violet, cedar wood, and powdery tonka. Even though patchouli is high on the scent list, my patchouli sensitive nose barely smells it. $6.50 for 2.5 oz. No cap .   Stuck-asaurus : 3 coats. Two is enough but I had tiny VNL in photos so I did three. I looooove white polish. Add some shimmer and flakes? Sign me up! I just love a clean palette. Someth

Press Sample Happy Monday, everyone. Let's kick off the Monday blues with some shimmer! This is the Zoya Dazzle collection, which technically was the holiday collection. But really, do you only wear shimmers during the holidays? I wear them year round, especially in the summer with some sunshine! I actually wore two of these colors in my Valentine's Day waves nail art and for such a simple mani, I got so much feedback! So I love how these work with art. I just want to mention that there will be shimmer everywhere upon removal. So if you see some on mine, don't judge. Esme : 3 coats. 2 had the tiniest VNL so I did three for photos but would do two in real life. This is " A soft rose gold with a glistening gold glass fleck ." I think your skin tone will determine how pink or orange this will be. On me, it is definitely more copper than rose gold. But I love this color. It is really pretty and the gold shimmer is super strong and pretty!   Sophia : 2 coats. An inten

Press Sample Hi all! This is a post that has been a longgggg time coming LOL. I actually did a gradient in November with a few colors from this collection and I have done pedicures and such. I also did a Valentine's Day Heart French Manicure. I just never posted swatches of this collection, which is a big bad on me! These cremes are amazing, so let's take a look! Also, sometimes bloggers bombard social media as soon as the collection releases...so I look at this as spreading the love since none of these are limited edition! Palmer : 2 coats plus top coat. A brilliant blush cream . I wasn't sure how much I loved this pink until I realized I used it for multiple arts. For such a light pink, it has a stunning opaque formula. It's also in that in between of pale and bright and dusty. Marcia : One coat but I did two for photos. A warm French rose cream . My favorite. Apparently, I like French Rose, whatever that is. It just is this beautiful in between of pink, mauve, and r
