Wintry Birch Tree Nail Art with Elevation Polish

Gambar
Nothing to Disclose  We expected 20-30 inches of snow in my area but were spared with only 6, so what better time to show you this nail art? I decided I wanted to use only Elevation Polish for some winter nail art and oh my, this is one of my favorite nail arts yet. I realized after that not a single one of these Elevations are technically available anymore. BUT the good news is that Elevation has so many other amazing colors. Check out the details and polishes below. Wintry Birch Tree Nail Art with Elevation Polish   I started with a base of two coats of Dykh-Tau, a polish that was released in July 2013 as part of a duo. It's a really delicate and lovely pale blue holographic polish. Then using Sample GGM #24 (June 2014) which is a gorgeous off white holographic polish, I used the tip of the polish brush and did random, different sized tree trunk branches.  Yeti was a Shadow (from March 2014) which was a gift with purchase was perfect for my birch tree marks over GGM #24. Sparitual Kindness with Tony Moly Glitter

Gambar
Nothing to Disclose Here's a pretty random manicure I did; yes it's out of "season" but I love these types of oranges all year long! And this Tony Moly glitter is simply awesome! Sparitual Kindness with Tony Moly Glitter  When I saw the Tony Moly glitter, I knew I wanted an orange base. I started with a base of Sparitual Kindness , a lovely burnt orange with a strong golden shimmer.  It has a lovely formula at two coats. I really need to get more Sparitual polishes (and you can frequently find them on clearance at Ulta or at TJ Maxx!) I then did a gradient using the Tony Moly glitter. Unfortunately, these polishes don't really have names, just obscure numbers and letters. This was an orange glitter in a clear base with added purple and iridescent glitter. I love the different shapes likes squares and glitters. And this was under $3. It's a great deal.  Sparitual Kindness  with Tony Moly Glitter  Sparitual Kindness with Tony Moly Glitter  Sparitual Kindness wit

Grand Theft Auto V Inspired: Hot Cocoa Nail Art

Gambar
Nothing to Disclose So when my boyfriend showed me the Christmas sweater updates for Grand Theft Auto V, I was like ahhhhh, nail art inspiration! Hot Cocoa Nail Art Just look at this sweater! I love the mix of the whipped cream drips (or is it icing? Who knows--it's a weird sweater) and the brown polka dots. I knew I had to do some nail art. There were a bunch of other sweaters I took photos of too! Grand Theft Auto Inspired: Hot Cocoa Nail Art I used a base of two coats of Sinful Colors Prosecco which is a taupe color with intense gold shimmer. It's really gorgeous for $1.99 and lives up to the hype. If you find this in drug stores, I highly suggest it for a great neutral.  Then I used OPI You Don't Know Jacques Suede to create the dots. It's pretty close to the photo above, right? Lastly, I used OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls (my favorite white for nail art) to create the whipped cream/snow/icing topping. I decided to omit the holly to make this art less Christmas-y an

Press Sample Today I'm sharing with you a new-to-me nail polish and care e-tailer. I'm really excited to share Live Love Polish and this beautiful Seche Polish with you! Plus I did a little nail art to coordinate with the polish name. Live Love Polish: Seche Vite and Seche Portobello Review  First, I just wanted to share their packaging. It's is the ultimate girly packaging! Pink bubble mailer, pink shipping slip, pink tissue wrap and sticker. I love a good theme. Live Love Polish packaging Seche Portobello is a creamy brown polish with a wonderful formula. It was completely opaque and shiny in two coats. It didn't need the top coat, but I used one coat of Seche Vite. Portobello is a buttery, rich brown creme nail polish. It had a great formula and was a great first impression of the Seche Polish brand. Alter Ego Winter Wonders Collection for Winter 2015

Press Sample Happy Saturday! Today I have a beautiful winter collection to share with you and the best news is that the collection launches TODAY, January 17th, (my lovely mother's birthday!) at 10am CST. The Winter Wonders Collection consists of four shades that dry semi-matte (and super beautiful) and all have complex shimmer with a splattering of holographic sparkle.  Alter Ego Winter Wonders Collection for Winter 2015 I have shown all the polishes without and with top coat. I really love the matte finish but if you want the holographic sparkle to come out, use a coat of top coat. Balsam Beauty: 2 coats. The make was inspired "by the fir trees the original owner of our house planted many years ago! Majestic, regal and hardy, I can always count on their vivid color to brighten a dreary winter day." Balsam Beauty is a deep green that has a fine copper and gold shimmer. It's a wonderful shade of green--it reminds me of pine trees.  Alter Ego Balsam Beauty, no top
