It is fun to take a stroll down memory lane and remind myself of all the Pusheen art I have done! This was my fifth year of doing Pusheen art and it has been a great ride! Next year's calendar really is not the greatest and definitely not inspirational haha. I loved all the seasonal and fun looks over the last five years though!   Press Sample Just in time! I have the final Pusheen manicure of the year! Pusheen is ending the year with a fun wintry look, wanting all the snow! I can't believe another year of Pusheen manicures are done and I'll be back with a recap! This month, Pusheen is ready for snow. Weirdly enough, there has been no snow this month here. There were a few flurries for like 20 minutes but nothing stuck. So I am glad Pusheen is all about the snow! I used all Jessica Cosmetics colors for this look. They make such great pastels and cremes! I went with Pusheen’s classic snow look!  Press Sample Hey all! I have a folder of lots of nail art inspiration. Every year, I swear I am going to tackle that list and well, it never happens. I will say I did visit every single light display and window display in NYC before Christmas and that is quite an accomplishment. Usually, I'm running around after trying to see the displays before they are gone!    So I saved this image of a reindeer...but I have no idea what it was from. Probably a card website because holiday cards are so pretty. I am big on giving physical cards for occasions and stores like Papyrus (RIP) always inspire me! So I saw this adorable reindeer and knew I wanted it on my nails.    I mixed up the coloring on the original image and added accent nails in gold and red. I added the background of green even though the original image was white. I wanted something more festive! Also, I had so much fun going through my nail polish, pulling out older colors to use!  Press Sample I am trying to sneak in whatever posts I can before the holidays! When I received KBShimmer Say It Ain't Cilantro, which is her January Polish Pickup color, I knew that it had to be involved in some holiday nail art! So let's get to the details   I played around with different bases but landed on this yellow-toned off white color. I really wanted the trees to be the star of the show. Initially I was going to do a sky blue, but I thought it might detract. What do you think? I did my base color and let it dry for 5 minutes before adding trees! I added the trees freehand with the nail polish brush. It was at least 2 coats of Say It Ain't Cilantro, which is January's Polish Pickup and will be available next month! Then I added a coat of KBShimmer's new exclusive Hypnotic Polish topper...more on that later. Lastly, I added one rhinestone star to the top!   Press Sample I love to try and take collections and create art based off of them. The KBShimmer in good spirits collection was 12 colors, so I had to select a few in order to make my nail artwork. I just knew that some of the colors would be perfect together and then it turns out the KB shimmer polish pick up color for December was total perfection. So I put them together to create this festive Holly nail art.    I wore this until it basically completely chipped off. I have to say, it has been really difficult for me to blog lately. I am doing my nails, but I just have not been inspired to post about them, which is a bummer. Press sample Good evening, all. I have so many ideas for nail art but then I put one on, love it, and keep it on for a week. This is the case with this manicure which I am dubbing a Christmas plaid. Some of the colors in the Zoya Nostalgic collection just screamed holidays despite it being a fall collection.  So I put them together to create this festive plaid art. Let's get to it!   Nostalgic did not have a cream color as a base so I had to pull from another brand. I wanted it to be a lighter color so the plaid could pop. I used the pink, red, and green and you can see just how festive they look together.
