Gambar
Press Sample  Hello! I love today’s color. I definitely love to look at the moon. Do you ever see faces in full moons? I do and it’s so pretty. I love Stella Chroma’s moon-inspired polish based on the phases on the moon. It’s so calming and pretty and I even threw together a quick nail art!   Waxing and Waning - $13 - no cap “ We chose the moon as our inspiration for this month! Waxing and Waning is a shining silver holographic polish with metallic blue and turquoise flakies.” 3 coats plus top coat. My insanely long nails thought they needed three coats but honestly, 2 was all I needed. Ahhhh I love this. For some reason, I get crystal ball vibes with this nail polish. Don’t you see it too? I love the contrasting flakes against the silver base. It’s like the flakes transform this color! It is SO sparkly so if you love holo, you’ll love this!  As soon as I saw this nail polish and read the inspiration, I knew I had to do some nail art. I knew I had a stamping plate with moons that wer

KBShimmer Pump It Up, October 2022 Polish Pickup

Press Sample ‘Tis the season for all pumpkin things. This definitely includes nail polish art and nail polish colors. For this month, KBShimmer is bringing a nail polish inspired by our favorite things: pumpkin spice. I really have not met a pumpkin spice I don’t enjoy. 🎃 ☕️   Sweet Cider Hand & Body Scrub - $10 - No Cap  “Sweet Cider Hand & Body Scrub is inspired by trips to the orchard. Crisp and perfectly ripe apple notes quickly blend with vanilla and spun sugar for a sweet, cider-like scent. I can almost taste the Granny Smith apples cut and waiting for warm melted caramel to envelop them. A sparkly, light cider in color, this scrub is the perfect scent to usher in a new season !” This definitely reminds me of fall because who doesn’t love cider during this time? I already picked up a gallon from a local farm and I can’t wait to drink and bake with it. This one just has a nice apple smell but there’s some sweetness.   KBShimmer Pump It Up Nail Polish (Reflective)

Apple Nail Art for Rosh Hashanah

Gambar
Press Sample  Hello everyone and Shanah Tovah! Tonight is Rosh Hashanah, or the Jewish New Year. It's been 3 years since I have done nail art for Rosh Hashanah, so I felt it was time again! We celebrate with apples and honey, which signifies a sweet new year, so I pulled out some apple nail art!  Since one of the biggest things to eat during this holiday is apples, and it is fall of course, I wanted to do that on my nails. I actually used two colors from the last time I did apple nail art because they were perfect. Of course I went through multiple reds to figure out which was the best one. I also have to admit that I was dead set on doing a dark background and originally was looking at darker blues and greens but last minute I pulled out an old glitter and then my heart was set on it.   I really want to matte this look but I had so much cooking and matte chips easier. Maybe I will tomorrow and then I'll update this post! The colors used for my 🍎 🍎🍎: Base: KBShimmer Bitter

Autumn Reverse Stamping Nail Art with What's Up Nails

Gambar
Press Sample What’s Up Nails is known for their stamping polishes and plates. I actually have not tried those products but I really wanted to do some stamping to honor the brand. I mentioned in my swatch post that lots of the colors from the Gust of Wind collection gave me fall vibes. Originally, I was going to do some nail art over a neutral base, then switched up everything last minute! It’s been a really long time since I’ve done reverse stamping and I remember how much work it is but how pretty the end result is. For some reason, with reverse stamping, I am just the messiest person ever. But oh my this just looks so gorgeous. Colors used: Base: Mauvers and Shakers Plate: Beauty big bang XL – 064 Stamping polish: Zoya Debbie Leaves: Used three of the What’s Up Nails colors First, I started with two coats of What's Up Nails Mauvers and Shakers. I let it dry for about 5 to 10 minutes just so it wasn’t tacky. While it was drying, I started making my stamping art. I first stam

Press Sample  Hello everyone and hope you’re enjoying your weekend. Today I am sharing one of the new Zoya collections. They released two and this is the smaller trio called Metallic Dreams. This consists of three metallic polishes and I can see people loving the, for autumn!  Matilda : 3 coats. 2 coats is definitely enough if you have shorter nails but I saw a tiny bit of VNL so I just added a third coat for good measure. “A metallic sweetheart pink submerged with gold shimmer.” This is super feminine and shimmery!    Moki : 2 coats. “An earthly olive metallic submerged with golden undertones and micro glitter.” This one really pulled gold on me even though I see there is some olive coloring to it. This one is going to be a stamper!    Amara : 2 coats. “ A gleaming rich chocolate brown metallic with copper undertones.” Just like Moki, this could be a one coater and definitely can stamp! It’s super rich and perfect for fall.   I saw a lot of comments on Instagram about how these co
