Autumnal Gradient with Red Dog Designs Pumpkin Toss

Gambar
Nothing to Disclose I wanted something simple and autumnal for a weekend in Boston/Salem and with the leaves turning and the weather cooling down, I was feeling like brown! Autumnal Gradient with Red Dog Designs Pumpkin Toss I used a base of Sheswai Rootsy which is a gorgeous caramel brown. Sheswai formula is always amazing and this was no different. I then did a quick gradient using Sheswai What, which is a deep brown polish. Both are cremes that I almost didn't want to cover up.  I then added one coat of Red Dog Designs Pumpkin Toss which is probably my favorite orange-range glitter. Pumpkin Toss has gold, yellow, orange, and brown glitters in both matte and metallic. It also comes with a bag of pumpkin shaped glitter but I opted not to use them.  Autumnal Gradient with Red Dog Designs Pumpkin Toss Autumnal Gradient with Red Dog Designs Pumpkin Toss Autumnal Gradient with Red Dog Designs Pumpkin Toss   It seems like we only just received fall weather and now it's winter...

Gena Hydrating Cuticle Gel and Massage Lotion

Gambar
Press Sample With the weather cooling down, our hands and cuticles take a beating, even when wearing gloves. For great nails and skin, moisture is key. Today I have some products from a new-to-me company that has actually been around for quite some time. These products work great, smell great, and the price point is amazing. And if you don't like cuticle oil, trust me when I say you will LOVE this cuticle gel. Gena Hydrating Cuticle Gel and Massage Lotion I am so glad I got to try these products because they are really moisturizing and I love the smell. As you can see in my photos, both items contain argan oil, which is super hydrating for skin. You can also see the big grapefruit on both bottles. The scent is very natural and refreshing. I really enjoy that these products are not artificially scented.  Gena Hydrating Cuticle Gel and Massage Lotion First, the Hydrating Cuticle Gel. In a market that is drowning in cuticle oils, this product really stands out. It is a thick gel so yo...

Rainbow Neon Stripe Nail Art

Gambar
Nothing to Disclose I wanted to finally show off one of my most favorite nail art looks EVER...and guess what...IT'S SO EASY! Seriously...everyone needs to do this ASAP. The look is amazing. A friend in a nail polish group posted her mani of this; she has gorgeous nails and really does amazing easy nail art. I was so inspired by her! Thanks for the inspiration! Rainbow Neon Stripe Nail Art I actually wore this look to my friend's bachelorette party months ago (shock!). It was loud and crazy (just like the night!). I started with a base coat of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls and allowed that to dry.  I then went to my polish collection and grabbed a bunch of neons. Some were: Chine Glaze Love's A Beach, China Glaze Pink Plumeria, China Glaze Surfin for Boys, Orly Tropical Pop, Orly Hot Tropics, Essie Funky Limelight, Spoiled I'm so Jaded, Color Club Wicked Sweet (someone find me this color not scents, blech!), and more! I just grabbed everything. Rainbow Neon Stripe Nail ...

Hand-painted Paisley Nail Art with Jessica Autumn in New York Collection

Gambar
Press Sample For those of you who like to dabble in nail art: do you ever have an idea in your head and then on the nail it just DOES NOT WORK? Oh yes, many times. But today, these came out EXACTLY how I wanted them to! I was so in love with this manicure, I wore it for a full week (which also attests to the Jessica formula!). When I saw the colors of the Jessica Autumn in New York collection, I immediately wanted to do paisley! You can check out my post of swatches of the colors alone HERE . And check out my first try ever at paisley nail art! Hand-painted Paisley Nail Art with Jessica Autumn in New York Collection I try to post accessible nail art usually, but I will mention this manicure takes a steady hand and time (about an hour to do both hands). This was all done with my smallest striping brush (and actually, I had bought a new one and totally forgot I had it. So I actually did this nail art with a cheapy set brush!). I had googled basic paisley patterns just to get an idea of w...

Polish TBH Moon Jelly and Cuticle Oil

Gambar
Press Sample Quick post today as it is a beautiful fall Sunday and I am off to enjoy it! Today I have a gorgeous jelly polish and cuticle oil from Polish TBH, so check it out! Polish TBH Moon Jelly and Cuticle Oil     Moon Jelly is a purple jelly with satin purple glitter and blue microglitter. The microglitter give off this awesome shimmer-like look. Because it is a jelly, it needs thin coats as it is sheer. I used three thin coats. The glitter dispersed well over the nails. I topped it with one coat of top coat. Look at the depth of the glitter because of the jelly base! Polish TBH Moon Jelly Polish TBH Moon Jelly   Polish TBH Moon Jelly I also got to try Polish TBH Cuticle oil! It's made with a lot of great ingredients like jojoba, coconut, and grapeseed oil. The Harvest Apple scent (which is apple, pear, cranberry, almond, and vanilla) smells really great and isn't too heavily scented. This oil takes a little bit of time to absorb so it's great to use it for a d...
