Festive Christmas Stripes

Gambar
Nothing to Disclose I'm still feeling festive. In fact, I will still do holiday manicures for a while because, why not? I did these stripes last week but time ran away from me. It's still fun, so I thought I would show you. Festive Christmas Stripes Nail Art Just like my Chanukah nail art HERE , I used a base color of Zoya Seraphina. Then I grabbed a bunch of different reds and greens and went to town! This is such an easy nail art look with amazing pay off. I used OPI Love is a Racket, Orly Torrid, China Glaze Glittering Garland, China Glaze Sexagon and more. You really don't need any specific colors. Just shop your stash! Festive Christmas Stripes Nail Art Festive Christmas Stripes Nail Art Festive Christmas Stripes Nail Art Festive Christmas Stripes Nail Art I still have some fun ideas for nail art that I didn't have time to do, so I hope you don't mind some more festive art! I'll be posting what I wore on Christmas Day later today, so stay tuned! Ehmkay Nail...

Chanukah Dreidels Nail Art with Azature Blue Diamond

Gambar
Nothing to Disclose Chanukah is still going on so I thought I would do some spinning dreidels! I got my Azature order in and blue diamond was screaming at me for some Chanukah nail art. Too bad for the clouds though so it's hard to show off the sparklies. So check out what I came up with! Chanukah Dreidels Nail Art with Azature Blue Diamond Azature nail polish is known for the fact that they had a nail polish on the market for $250,000 made of black diamonds. Mostly celebrities wore it for press and I don't think they ever sold one. While that's not quite in my budget, they then released a $25 version, still with black diamonds, but a lesser amount of it. Still, I wasn't hard pressed to order it. THEN, they had a special birthday sale and they were $6. Totally in my budget! I grabbed three of the sparkly ones and Blue diamond was pretty much the perfect Chanukah polish! Azature Blue Diamond was pretty thick but still needed two coats. The polish is gritty and maybe that...

6 Harts Mountain Nights and Glacier

Gambar
Press Sample I love Courtney over at 6 Harts Polish. She is really a wonderful person so when I had the opportunity to try a few polishes, I jumped at it. Today I'm showing you two shimmers and I'll be posting the glitters in a few days. I love these two polishes for Chanukah and the winter time, so check them out! These polishes are so complex, so I have a ton of photos. 6 Harts Mountain Nights and Glacier Mountain Nights: 2-3 coats. The coats depends on your nail length. You can see a bit of VNL (visible nail line) because my nails were very long but it wasn't apparent in person. I have two coats here. Mountain Nights is a beautiful cobalt blue jelly filled with a pink/purple shimmer and flakies.  I love her inspiration of Montana nights! It is really complex and wonderful. 6 Harts Mountain Nights 6 Harts Mountain Nights 6 Harts Mountain Nights 6 Harts Mountain Nights 6 Harts Mountain Nights 6 Harts Mountain Nights Glacier: 2 coats. Where to start with this polish? I LOVE...

3D Christmas Tree Nail Art

Gambar
Nothing to Disclose   Hi all! I have a bit of a nail art fail in my eyes, but people in real life were mesmerized by it so I thought I would show it off still! In my head, I wanted to do abstract pine trees and add rhinestones as the ornaments. Check out my post for more details. 3D Christmas Tree Nail Art I started with a base of China Glaze Glittering Garland, which is one of my favorite dark greens. Then I used a variety of green shimmers and made the branches or the trees. While the polish was still tacky, I added a star at the tip of my cuticle as the tree topper. Then I added random "ornaments" all over the tree like you would a Christmas tree. I then added two coats of top coat to secure in the rhinestones.  3D Christmas Tree Nail Art It was difficult to see the art in sunlight, but you can see the defined tree shape in the shade. 3D Christmas Tree Nail Art 3D Christmas Tree Nail Art 3D Christmas Tree Nail Art I've been moving away from the typical holiday nail art...

Chanukah Stripes with Cirque Colors 8 Crazy Nights

Gambar
Nothing to Disclose Sorry for my radio silence lately! I've been busy with holidays and the end of the semester. The end of the semester is just as hectic for teachers as it is for students! I have been doing lots of holiday nail art, so I'll bombard everyone the next two weeks. But tonight is the first night of Chanukah, so here is my current manicure that I think is rather festive. Chanukah Stripes with Cirque Colors 8 Crazy Nights Chanukah nail art is rather difficult. There isn't as much imagery like there is for Christmas (like trees, ornaments, reindeer, etc). Instead I took the colors blue and white (the colors of Israel's flag) and gold for the flames of the candles to create a festive look. I started with a base of Zoya Seraphina, Then I used a bunch of golds, blues, and silvers to create horizontal stripes (basically what I did for my neon stripe mani HERE). I had just received Cirque Colors 8 Crazy Nights, so I topped it with one coat of the glitter. Chanukah...

Elevation Polish SBPs: La Harpe and MLPS

Gambar
Nothing to Disclose Tonight I want to show you two awesome Elevation Small Batch Prototypes. These are really stunning and the good news is that one was re-created for a recent Elevation collection. I get really excited when I snag SBPs but feel bad showing them because they are not available, but at least one of them is now!   Elevation Polish SBPs: La Harpe and MLPS Small Batch Prototypes are polishes that Lulu considers "B" polishes. They are not re-created unless she feels they fit into a collection, like La Harpe! SBPs are snatched up quickly, so if you want one, you need to move fast. La Harpe: two coats. This polish was love at first sight on the web site. It is a bright yet deep berry/magenta polish with amazing black microflakes and a sprinkling of holographic pigment. The flakes are the star for me. I love them. This polish was re-created as Sunset Among the Palms.  Elevation Polish SBP La Harpe Elevation Polish SBP La Harpe Elevation Polish SBP La Harpe Elevati...
