Enchanted Polish April 2014 with Kiko Cupcake 654 Anise

Gambar
Nothing to Disclose Here's an NOTD from a while ago but it is reminiscent of my blue frozen hands in this cold weather. I love combining textures and these really worked together.  Enchanted Polish April 2014 with Kiko Cupcake 654 Anise Enchanted Polish April 2014 was one of the mystery polishes from 2014. It was actually the only Enchanted I kept this year. I love the soft periwnkle/lilac/blue-ish color of April. The holographic flame isn't too strong, which is what I prefer. This is two coats. I then paired it with accents of two coats of Kiko Cupcake 654 Anise, which is a pastel creme texture polish. The base is a periwinkle texture with flecks of dark brown and orange. I love it! Takko Lacquer Jabberwocky

Gambar
Nothing to Disclose I always feel badly posting about Takkos. They can be frustrating to buy and aren't restocked often--but this one is too pretty.  Takko Lacquer Jabberwocky Jabberwocky: 2 coats. This polish was released in October and I really don't think it has been restocked since. This is disappointing and I wish Takko would find a better schedule of releasing her colors more than just once, but it is simply something you have to accept with the brand. Jabberwocky is a beautiful teal polish with the most amazing shimmer. The shimmer shifts from gold to copper to green (but the green only shows up at extreme angles). Even so, the copper shimmer is enough for me. Shimmer polishes are my favorite and ones like this blow me away. Elevation Polish Le Crêt de la neige

Gambar
Nothing to Disclose Quick NOTD post tonight because Elevation Polish is restocking in an hour and this polish is getting discontinued! So buy it now or be sad! Elevation Polish Le Crêt de la neige Elevation Polish Le Crêt de la neige: 2 coats. This polish is so interesting. Frankly, when I first saw swatches when it came out, I immediately shot it down. Then I kept thinking about it. Elevation Polish describes this as a "Dusty Coral orange base with an arrangement of gunmetal and silver glitters." The glitters get muted in the base and together they turn into something unique, weird, but beautiful. Depending on lighting, this polish pulled more coral or more orange, but all together awesome.  Elevation Polish Le Crêt de la neige Elevation Polish Le Crêt de la neige Elevation Polish Le Crêt de la neige Elevation Polish Le Crêt de la neige Elevation Polish Le Crêt de la neige Elevation Polish Le Crêt de la neige Seriously, grab this polish before it's gone forever. F.U.N Lacquer Payday Holo with NYC Bergdorf Goodman Holiday Window Displays

Gambar
Nothing to Disclose Hi all! Happy New Year! I'm actually showing you the manicure I just took off and have been wearing since December 31st. Yup, this was my New Year's Eve manicure and I intended to put art over it and just couldn't. I also decided to add something special to this kick off to 2015 post. Every year, New York City is known for the beautiful window displays department stores set up for the holiday season. Bergdorf Goodman always does a spectacular job so I thought I would share the photos from this year since I went to see them the other day. Check it out! F.U.N Lacquer Payday Holo First the polish, I grabbed this polish during Llarowe's Black Friday sale. I have a bunch of F.U.N Lacquers on my wish list but they sold out so quickly. I wanted Payday Holo the most so I focused on it and wow, it does not disappoint. In fact, I wore it for almost a week and not a day went by where random people were grabbing my hands asking me about this polish--it's tha...

End 2014 with Elevation Polish Yeti's Oceanside Vacation

Gambar
I wanted to sneak in one last post of 2014! So I decided to end with the indie polish brand that has crept up to be one of my all time favorites. Lulu, the creator of Elevation Polish, puts so much thought into her collections and each individual color so I wanted to honor her! Elevation Polish Yeti's Oceanside Vacation Yeti's Oceanside Vacation is a part of the Yeti series, which is a series of LE polishes Lulu puts out a few times a year. This one came out in July! Yeti's Oceanside Vacation has matte blue, aqua, periwinkle glitter with white glitters and sparse glow in the dark stars (look in the center on my middle nail). This glitter is so whimsical! It's no longer available, but the bases are! I alternated the base color with Elevation Limestone (white) and Puncak Jaya (blue), both gorgeous cremes with flakies and shimmers, which are hidden by the glitter. Girly Bits A Stripper Has Been Sleeping In My Bed

Gambar
Nothing to Disclose This is definitely one of my top polishes of 2014. I'm not quite sure if it came out in 2014, but that's when I got it and wore it and I love it SO much! So much depth, sparkle, and overall amazingness. You need to see these photos. Girly Bits A Stripper Has Been Sleeping In My Bed Girly Bits A Stripper Has Been Sleeping In My Bed: 2 coats (on my shorties) but probably would need 3 coats on my longer nails now. I.Love.This.Polish. It's somewhat confusing because it is a clear base, but favors charcoal holo microglitter but then you can clearly see there is rainbow glitter. I love it alone rather than layered. Pam's description of this polish is: "It is a clear based holo micro glitterbomb that will knock your socks off, or your stripper boots, which ever you favour. It is dense enough to be worn in 2-3 coats alone, or in one coat layered over your favourite colour." Haha, I love her description! Seriously though, it is so awesome! Girly ...
