I was in the mood for galaxies, and by fate, galaxy artwork popped on my Instagram feed and here's the result! And I wore it for a week!

I love this water decal set. I chose to focus on the constellations but plan on using the zodiac sign for my upcoming birthday (which I'm pretending isn't happening. I'm not much on birthdays). First, I saw this photo on Instagram from an artist Elspeth Mclean. Her artwork has gone viral and it is super awesome for nail art! I saw this constellations and were blown away. I had to re-create it!

I started with a base of Elevation Polish Yeti was a Shadow, which is a dark grey soft holographic polish. Then sticking with the blue, purple, and magenta base, I added larger dots first. Then the medium dots. Lastly, the smallest dots.

The colors I used includes: Illamasqua Cameo, Illamasqua Noble, Illamasqua Jomina, Zoya Rock, Elevation El Cap Oops, Elevation Walk a Little Further. I didn't use any method beyond biggest to smallest dots.

Then after that dried, I cut out my desired constellations. I removed the clear film, soaked the decals in water for about 20 seconds, then applied the image onto my nail. Then you want to carefully float top coat over the decals. If you push too hard, the decals will disintegrate.

Takko Lacquer Heart Shaped Box

Nothing to Disclose Today I have a little swatch of Takko Lacquer Heart Shaped Box. This polish came out as a mystery polish around Valentine's Day. I didn't get it then because I'm not into mysteries, but picked it up during her sale last month because, why not? Takko Lacquer Heart Shaped Box Let's talk about this polish. Pink, holo, flakies: I should love it. And I do! But only in the sunlight. 13 Days of Halloween: Halloween Glitter Gradient

  Partial Press Sample Glitter is coming back. I am saying that now. I have been wearing some chunkier glitters lately and forgot how much I loved them, even if I need more elbow grease for removal. I have a ton of gorgeous Halloween glitters that I haven't used in a while, so today is their spotlight!   I feel like glitter might be making a come back so I was really feeling like pulling out some old indie polishes with super chunky glitter. I wanted to mix up some intricate nail art with something that everyone can do such as a basic glitter gradient. Just dab it on and you are good to go. You can't mess it up! I chose to alternate a black and orange cream for a perfectly Halloween look. What can be easier than doing plain colors on your nails. Then I added the glitters to my Tips and let it gradient down with some spots towards the cuticle.
