Gradient Dotticure with Jessica Golden Hour

Well, I'm back with one more post on the Golden Hour collection from Jessica Cosmetics, but I know I'll be using the colors all the time in nail art and such. The collection is called Golden Hour, so I had to do a kind of sunset gradient look, and this is what I came up with.


I will admit that this is not the cleanest work. I initially did a mani with a different brand and different colors and after an hour of not making it work, I removed it, and went to do these nails. I was so frustrated and I just wanted my nails painted and to go to bed!

That being said, I don't think these came out terribly!


I started with a base of Daylight, which had the yellow undertones. Then I did dots from my cuticle to tip in Dusk, Sand, Apricot Ice, and Sunglow. For this look, I wanted more sunset colors so I did not want to use Shadow, which is a gorgeous grey creme, just not what I wanted. Topped it with one coat of top coat and called it a day!



So that's all for now with the Golden Hour collection. I saw their new summer collection just released, so I am excited to see them in person!

Flannel Stamping with KBShimmer Totally Stoked

  Press Sample Hello everyone! I wanted to share a quick art with KBShimmer Totally Stoked , which is the Polish Pickup color this month! I am totally obsessed with it and have it as my pedicure right now! This color screamed flannel to me, so I wanted to do some simple stamping! I had on two coats of Totally Stoked, which is " A warm red base shows off glowing hues of orange, gold, and ember." This also has holo flakes. I just love it!   Then I did classic flannel stamping. I thought all the nails might be overwhelming but I love it. I have a moose and Cabin Fever on my outer nails! Black and red is such a great flannel combo! Below are more angles to show off the orange and copper of this polish and just to show it off with a matte top coat since I originally wore it shiny!  If you haven't grabbed this polish yet, you only have until the end of today! Takko Lacquer Heart Shaped Box

Nothing to Disclose Today I have a little swatch of Takko Lacquer Heart Shaped Box. This polish came out as a mystery polish around Valentine's Day. I didn't get it then because I'm not into mysteries, but picked it up during her sale last month because, why not? Takko Lacquer Heart Shaped Box Let's talk about this polish. Pink, holo, flakies: I should love it. And I do! But only in the sunlight. In the sun, Heart Shaped Box is a vibrant pink polish with a tiny bit of holo and awesome multichrome flakes that mostly pull black.  Takko Lacquer Heart Shaped Box Here is a close up of the flakes, they really are awesome.  Takko Lacquer Heart Shaped Box Takko Lacquer Heart Shaped Box Here's the polish in the shade where it completely transforms, and maybe not in the best way for my skin tone.
