13 Days of Halloween: Spooky Campsite Halloween Nail Art

Hello all! Day 2 is a bit more abstract, with a spooky camp site. Honestly, camping in the middle of nowhere definitely frightens me LOL, but I have camped in not so remote places. Well, in this scene, bats of some kind come out to play, so let's take a look!

 
 
I saw a mug at Papyrus or Paper source; I don’t remember but it was an online ad and it changed to orange when you put hot liquid in it. I loved that idea for a manicure so I literally just did it on my nails. My mug collection for Halloween is ridiculous so I’m not allowed to buy anymore (jk bought 3 this season already) so I figured at least I could put some fun art on my nails.


On my ring finger, that is supposed to be a giant orange bat. I dinged the bat and tried to redo it and it became such a mess but you know what, here you go. I still liked the vibe of the nails and the campsite in general and I feel like I want to do this again without the bat for winter. I also feel like I should show you my successes and fails so here you go.

Flannel Stamping with KBShimmer Totally Stoked

  Press Sample Hello everyone! I wanted to share a quick art with KBShimmer Totally Stoked , which is the Polish Pickup color this month! I am totally obsessed with it and have it as my pedicure right now! This color screamed flannel to me, so I wanted to do some simple stamping! I had on two coats of Totally Stoked, which is " A warm red base shows off glowing hues of orange, gold, and ember." This also has holo flakes. I just love it!   Then I did classic flannel stamping. I thought all the nails might be overwhelming but I love it. I have a moose and Cabin Fever on my outer nails! Black and red is such a great flannel combo! Below are more angles to show off the orange and copper of this polish and just to show it off with a matte top coat since I originally wore it shiny!  If you haven't grabbed this polish yet, you only have until the end of today! Takko Lacquer Heart Shaped Box

Nothing to Disclose Today I have a little swatch of Takko Lacquer Heart Shaped Box. This polish came out as a mystery polish around Valentine's Day. I didn't get it then because I'm not into mysteries, but picked it up during her sale last month because, why not? Takko Lacquer Heart Shaped Box Let's talk about this polish. Pink, holo, flakies: I should love it. And I do! But only in the sunlight. In the sun, Heart Shaped Box is a vibrant pink polish with a tiny bit of holo and awesome multichrome flakes that mostly pull black.  Takko Lacquer Heart Shaped Box Here is a close up of the flakes, they really are awesome.  Takko Lacquer Heart Shaped Box Takko Lacquer Heart Shaped Box Here's the polish in the shade where it completely transforms, and maybe not in the best way for my skin tone.
