Thanksgiving Nail Art: Autumn Foliage Stamping

Y'all, I have been wanting to do this manicure since September. Then I decided to hold off until October, when I broke my nail. Then 13 Days of Halloween happened. Now it's Thanksgiving. So I have had this on my nail art mat for MONTHS! Now I am finally wearing it! Here is my post from 6 weeks ago hahah, so you can see swatches of this gorgeous autumnal collection! 

I fully intended on posting these on Wednesday, but of course life got in the way. I have been prepping Thanksgiving dinner and honestly didn’t sit down until late at night to do these nails. Of course, that is why they look a bit messy. I had been waiting to do this manicure for so long so it saddens me that I was kind of excited to do it and yet exhausted.

 


 

I wanted the colors to pop off the base, so I used a lighter base of Stella Chroma Deer Abby, which is an older polish but I love it. Then I used all four cremes from the fall collection and blended them on a leaf image and stamped in my nails. It was messier than I had intended but oh well.

Flannel Stamping with KBShimmer Totally Stoked

  Press Sample Hello everyone! I wanted to share a quick art with KBShimmer Totally Stoked , which is the Polish Pickup color this month! I am totally obsessed with it and have it as my pedicure right now! This color screamed flannel to me, so I wanted to do some simple stamping! I had on two coats of Totally Stoked, which is " A warm red base shows off glowing hues of orange, gold, and ember." This also has holo flakes. I just love it!   Then I did classic flannel stamping. I thought all the nails might be overwhelming but I love it. I have a moose and Cabin Fever on my outer nails! Black and red is such a great flannel combo! Below are more angles to show off the orange and copper of this polish and just to show it off with a matte top coat since I originally wore it shiny!  If you haven't grabbed this polish yet, you only have until the end of today! Takko Lacquer Heart Shaped Box

Nothing to Disclose Today I have a little swatch of Takko Lacquer Heart Shaped Box. This polish came out as a mystery polish around Valentine's Day. I didn't get it then because I'm not into mysteries, but picked it up during her sale last month because, why not? Takko Lacquer Heart Shaped Box Let's talk about this polish. Pink, holo, flakies: I should love it. And I do! But only in the sunlight. In the sun, Heart Shaped Box is a vibrant pink polish with a tiny bit of holo and awesome multichrome flakes that mostly pull black.  Takko Lacquer Heart Shaped Box Here is a close up of the flakes, they really are awesome.  Takko Lacquer Heart Shaped Box Takko Lacquer Heart Shaped Box Here's the polish in the shade where it completely transforms, and maybe not in the best way for my skin tone.
