Stella Chroma Oh Crikey, February Polish Pickup

As I mentioned yesterday, Polish Pickup is all about 90s TV for February. There is so much content there! Stella Chroma chose The Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin, for inspiration. This was definitely a show I would tune into as a kid. How he interacted with animals was amazing and of course, I was so shocked when he died. This polish totally represents what he loved: Crocodiles!


Emulsified Sugar Scrub in Cool Reef: $6.50 for a 2.5 oz jar, no cap.

I do love this soap from Lush, but bar soap is tight on my skin. So I love that I can have this scent in a super moisturizing sugar scrub! I love these scents for summer. Light and refreshing.

Stella Chroma Crikey!: 2 coats plus top coat then matte. Yea, I am totally here for this muted khaki green. I love it! It perfectly represents crocodiles. The brighter flakes against the muted base make this just so pretty. Those green flakes are just amazing! I love that Pam will be donating $1 to the Australia Zoo too, which is his legacy. Awesome.
 




A polish like this demands to be matte. I love it! That murky green offsets the brighter green and gold flakes. It is so awesome.

Autumn Plaid

Press Sample Hello everyone! It was also my father's birthday in September so I did some nails to celebrate him! His favorite color is orange, so my nails are an orange ode to my father. Just doing plain orange nails was not enough though; I had to amp it up! I just just swatched KBShimmer Pump It Up, which is an orange reflective, and I somehow wanted to use it. Then I picked up Stella Chroma Hug the Road. Those are the two colors that I gravitated toward that inspired this look. Cluster and Cloud Sculptures are versatile glitters that you can use year round! 6 Harts Cluster and Cloud Sculptures   When I purchase glitters, I try to purchase ones I can use year-round and isn't specific for a holiday. Both these glitters are versatile and had great formulas. Both polishes covered great and the glitter dispersed well. No need for fishing! Cluster: 1 coat.
