Rainbow Stripes

So this is sort of a St. Patrick’s Day nail art and it features the Duri Cosmetics collection I just shared with you. My brain wanted to put these rainbow cremes together and St. Patrick’s Day also reminds me of rainbows, so it was perfect. 



My idea was that of a rainbow with gold coins, which is represented with the gold stripes. To create those nails, I actually used a gold stamping polish and stamped on the diagonal. It made this process go so quickly. I had a pale off white as my base, so I colored in the white stripes with the rainbow cremes!  


 

The colors I used were:

  • Base of central nails: Duri Bunny Slope 
  • Red: Duri Hear Me Roar
  • Orange: Duri Uninhibited
  • Yellow: Duri Sting Like a Bee
  • Green: Duri Monkeying Around 
  • Blue: Duri Tropical Rain
  • Stella Chroma Poppies!
  • Yellow gold stamping polish 
  • Plate Morgan Taylor Geometric 1 




 

Then for my outer nails, I decided to paint my nails the color of the sky! Because this is a rainbow in the sky! I chose this gorgeous Stella Chroma! So yes, this is abstract but I think fun!

Flannel Stamping with KBShimmer Totally Stoked

  Press Sample Hello everyone! I wanted to share a quick art with KBShimmer Totally Stoked , which is the Polish Pickup color this month! I am totally obsessed with it and have it as my pedicure right now! This color screamed flannel to me, so I wanted to do some simple stamping! I had on two coats of Totally Stoked, which is " A warm red base shows off glowing hues of orange, gold, and ember." This also has holo flakes. I just love it!   Then I did classic flannel stamping. I thought all the nails might be overwhelming but I love it. I have a moose and Cabin Fever on my outer nails! Black and red is such a great flannel combo! Below are more angles to show off the orange and copper of this polish and just to show it off with a matte top coat since I originally wore it shiny!  If you haven't grabbed this polish yet, you only have until the end of today! Takko Lacquer Heart Shaped Box

Nothing to Disclose Today I have a little swatch of Takko Lacquer Heart Shaped Box. This polish came out as a mystery polish around Valentine's Day. I didn't get it then because I'm not into mysteries, but picked it up during her sale last month because, why not? Takko Lacquer Heart Shaped Box Let's talk about this polish. Pink, holo, flakies: I should love it. And I do! But only in the sunlight. In the sun, Heart Shaped Box is a vibrant pink polish with a tiny bit of holo and awesome multichrome flakes that mostly pull black.  Takko Lacquer Heart Shaped Box Here is a close up of the flakes, they really are awesome.  Takko Lacquer Heart Shaped Box Takko Lacquer Heart Shaped Box Here's the polish in the shade where it completely transforms, and maybe not in the best way for my skin tone.
