Grapefruit Nail Art

More fruit nail art, because I have problems, LOL. I was inspired by this adorable art I saw on Pinterest. I just love the neutral base with the neons against it. Plus, grapefruit art? SO CUTE! I took a short break from posting because I was behind on Instagram and I hate letting posts pile up. But here we are!

I love love love pulling out old polishes. Sometimes I think, get rid of all but 50 nail polishes. Then I do a nail art where there's a particular orange and one orange is slightly too dark and one too light and then I am like, yes, I DO need 50 orange polishes, leave me alone. HAHA.

 

I know grapefruit does not exactly look like this, but I do love the color combo I saw on Pinterest, so I wanted to utilize the same style! That pop of pink is super cute!



Here are the colors I used. Again, I went through like 12 different oranges and yellows to pick this color combo. I loved pulling out these oldies!

Ok I have done lemons, oranges, and now grapefruit. I think I need to round out summer with a watermelon look!

Flannel Stamping with KBShimmer Totally Stoked

  Press Sample Hello everyone! I wanted to share a quick art with KBShimmer Totally Stoked , which is the Polish Pickup color this month! I am totally obsessed with it and have it as my pedicure right now! This color screamed flannel to me, so I wanted to do some simple stamping! I had on two coats of Totally Stoked, which is " A warm red base shows off glowing hues of orange, gold, and ember." This also has holo flakes. I just love it!   Then I did classic flannel stamping. I thought all the nails might be overwhelming but I love it. I have a moose and Cabin Fever on my outer nails! Black and red is such a great flannel combo! Below are more angles to show off the orange and copper of this polish and just to show it off with a matte top coat since I originally wore it shiny!  If you haven't grabbed this polish yet, you only have until the end of today! Takko Lacquer Heart Shaped Box

Nothing to Disclose Today I have a little swatch of Takko Lacquer Heart Shaped Box. This polish came out as a mystery polish around Valentine's Day. I didn't get it then because I'm not into mysteries, but picked it up during her sale last month because, why not? Takko Lacquer Heart Shaped Box Let's talk about this polish. Pink, holo, flakies: I should love it. And I do! But only in the sunlight. In the sun, Heart Shaped Box is a vibrant pink polish with a tiny bit of holo and awesome multichrome flakes that mostly pull black.  Takko Lacquer Heart Shaped Box Here is a close up of the flakes, they really are awesome.  Takko Lacquer Heart Shaped Box Takko Lacquer Heart Shaped Box Here's the polish in the shade where it completely transforms, and maybe not in the best way for my skin tone.
